At Ontario Portable Boats , 5701, Line 46, West Perth, RR#5, Mitchell Ontario, Canada, N0K 1N0 , we take great pride in giving our customers great service. We have been selling folding Porta-botes since 1999. We are interested in building a satisfied customer base one person at a time.
We are located in rural Ontario near Mitchell, and are the third generation to live on the same property. We are actively involved in agriculture as well and value our friends and neighbors and could not succeed without them.
With my wife Patricia , we have been selling Porta-botes and accessories since 1999. We have been avid users of the porta-bote line and found the porta-bote to be a truly unique product. Since my wife and I are the sole owners and only employees of Ontario Portable Boats, you will always be treated with respect and we will do our utmost to honestly answer any questions you may have regarding Porta-bote and its many uses.
We have met many imaginative and adventurous people through our business and consider many of these people our friends , not just customers.
We have shipped Porta-botes to many places such as Africa ( Morocco & Kenya ), Barbados, Hong Kong, Romania, Mexico, Argentina and a few other countries. Most of these customers live in Ontario, Canada and wanted a Porta-bote shipped back home to relatives
As owners of a small cottage west of South River Ontario ( just below North Bay ) we have had many opportunities to use and demonstrate our Porta-botes.
We have taken a porta-bote to many remote lakes and fished ( with great success ) places big boats could not access. We have also used them on large lakes because the porta-bote is so stable.
We have used one as a safety boat ice fishing ( ice was not very thick ) as cold weather does not affect a Porta-botes use, but it is harder to assemble in extreme cold weather.
I have flown in a float plane with a Porta-bote attached to the pontoons, attached one on an ATV for remote lakes, and car topped a porta-bote on many types of vehicles.
We have had customers drive home with a Porta-bote attached to a Porche, Cadillac, as well as just about every brand of car and SUV and pickup truck.
